Editorial The revolution in the Body: Illustrated History of Clothing in Buenos Aires, 1810-1850

Rosario Oliva

This is an illustrated research project on the history of clothing in Buenos Aires between 1810 and 1850. It is a scientific communication book that focuses on the details and uses of garments to offer a more intimate and sensitive perspective. By doing so, it aims to convey the everyday, the sensory, and the personal aspects of clothing. Additionally, it seeks to preserve and highlight the craftsmanship, textures, garment constructions, and textiles of that period in Buenos Aires through graphic documentation.
